What's crazy about this story is that they're doggedly trying to stick to the argument that by virtue of her being at the school during teaching hours, that this is inherently a workplace injury, so therefore her lawsuit that the school district was negligent can't go through.

And the reason she's bringing a $40 million lawsuit? There were 4 warnings that the student her shot her had a gun and was threatening other students that day, and they did nothing.
